Sometimes we can get lost in the noise of our busy lives
We may mask for our roles and acceptance, endure endless expectations, and feel weighted down by responsibilities. We lose track of our own inner voice and become disconnected from ourselves. We get stuck on autopilot.
I’m here to help you gain understanding into patterns that no longer serve you, and to hone the skills that could support you in moving through this period of growth.
“Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In that choice lies our growth and our freedom.”
- Summary of Viktor Frankl’s work in Man’s Search for Meaning

Your voice is your guide
At the core of my practice is a deep respect for who you are, your experience, and your wisdom. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, with your voice leading the way.
This means I work with you to regain trust in your values and goals, rather than telling you what you should do or believe. I’ll also help you manage the challenges that can feel so overwhelming.
With my individual clients, I predominantly work from an attachment lens, interwoven with parts work and practices that support emotional and nervous system regulation.
Here’s what you can expect from a typical individual session with me:
Space to connect with your internal experience
Our present experience can offer us a lot of information about our nervous system and how we are functioning. I usually start by asking about any sensation, feeling, thought, memory, belief, or urge that is arising in the moment as we explore certain subjects.
Processing your experiences at a pace that works for you
I have found that some of us just want to get it off our chest. This can be helpful, but with really distressing topics, it can be more supportive of healing if we take our time and build up some personal resources first.
I focus more on the process rather than the outcome
I like to explore and work with the nitty-gritty of what goes on underneath the surface. If something is operating within us that is outside of our awareness, we cannot change it. If we can get to know it, we can work with it.
I am not a linear thinker
This means that I may pivot responsively to something that shows up in our session together. The session adapts to you. The therapeutic process and growth are rarely linear either.

I am registered with BCACC as a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and with the CRPO as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) (RP Qualifying). I recommend checking with your insurance provider to ensure that you are covered, but I am typically provided by coverage that includes RCC and RP (Qualifying) designations.
